Do you consider yourself to be a leader? ๐Ÿฅ‡

Do you know your limitations?

There are two types of limitations to consider:
1. The obvious skills-based ones
2. The more emotionally based

The skills-based limitations may be obvious, but do you seek help?

When you start a business, you often do it alone or with few people involved, meaning you must pick up the slack.

You need to learn to do many things until you have the financial means to bring in the experts.

Often, however, the biggest obstacle to overcome is not having the finances; it is about people being willing to let go.

The emotionally based limitations require you to work on yourself and really get to understand what drives you and what holds you back.

This requires a deeper form of one-on-one coaching, so I sought out an expert (with a very specialised skillset) who deals with the CEOs of businesses from small to large.

Ingeborg Mooiweer is a Business Alchemist, and she was a recent guest on my Biz Bites podcast. ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ

Check out the small excerpt and listen to the full podcast (embedded below the video) for the broader conversation that will get you thinking about your leadership approach.

From my perspective, often, what holds leaders back from being known is a combination of the two limitations: hiding behind skills-based excuses when the reasons may be more emotional.

My approach is to engage people in a conversation, breaking through the emotional and skills-based limitations so their voice is heard.

Itโ€™s why I love the impact doing podcasts for businesses can have because it is so much more than just a popularity/new lead generator.
